Trip Overview

Because if its location the Trisuli is Nepal�s most rafted river. Only a 2-3 hour bus ride from Kathmandu will allow you access to some of Nepal�s most impressive mountain gorges and beautiful tropical rainforests. The Trisuli River is perfect for the entire family or anyone wanting to experience the tranquility of rafting for the first time. The highway that runs the same valley as this river allows for multiple access points to start and end a rafting trip so we can easily create the perfect float for you. Anything from a 1-day wildlife watching float trip with only a couple small waves to splash your feet to a 6-day trip where you can begin to experience the thrill of a couple of rapids is possible. Of course since the road follows the river anyone who may feel more timid about the few rapids has the ability to get out and take pictures of friends as they pass through. For those interested in wildlife the perfect way to end this trip is to float through Chitwan National Park. Here you get the opportunity to view monkeys, crocodiles, rhinos and if you are really lucky the Gangetic dolphin; one of the only freshwater dolphins in the world.
