Trekking through the pristine mountain, wilderness and isolated Buddhist settlements to gain Incomparable views of the north and south face of Kangchenjunga. It would be hard to beat the incredible mountains views from the inner glacial sanctum high on the Kangchenjunga Glacier. Within this spectacular large open area you are enclosed by ridge upon snow-capped ridge that lead to the crowning summit of Kangchenjunga 8586 meters · the world's third highest peak. To reach these rarefied heights we take an exceptional trek through the remote region of eastern part of Nepal . We fly to Tumlingtar and trek heading to the Tamur Valley with its terraced rice paddies and thriving Hindu villages. We enter forest of rhododendron, conifer, and oak, and pass small Tibetan settlements to high yak pastures.

Reaching the Kangchenjunga Base Camp at Pang Pema we gaze in awe at the huge North face. Trekking higher, we enter the inner sanctum where the snow-capped Jongsang Peak , Pyramid Peak and Tent Peak lead to the soaring summit of Kangchenjunga. From Pang Pema we descend the terminal moraine before following the yak herders' trail over the mirgin La 4725 meters · the divide between the northern and southern approaches to Kangchenjunga. Completing this traverse we gain spectacular views of Jannu and the huge south face of Kangchenjunga before returning to the Kabeli khola and Tamur Valley .
