 This magnificent off-the-beaten-path trek in the Annapurna region combined with Chitwan Wildlife Safari. This is an outstanding introductory trekking in Nepal . We planned stages ensure plenty of time to adjust to the mountain air and the pace of the remote mountain villages as we trek across the terraced foothills beneath the Annapurna Range . From Pokhara the trails wind through rice paddies and traditional villages many days from the roadhead. We enter forest of conifer, oak, bamboo and luxuriant ferns as we trek from one magnificent campsite to the next. We gradually ascend to vantage points that afford spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges with additional rest days to share the complete trekking experience with our ever attentive expert local leaders and crew. We return to Pokhara and transfer to the Royal Chitwan National Park . Lodge is situating deep in the park, is an ideal base for experiencing the tranquility of the jungle on elephant back, in canoes, of on foot – in search of Rhino, deer and the elusive royal Bengal tiger.
